On the 28th November 2010 the 100 Club hosted a gig celebrating the 30th Anniversary of ‘The Great Rock ‘n’ Roll Swindle’ - ‘The Great Rock ‘n’Roll Tribute’ by The Sex Pistols Experience.
It seems only a brief time since the amazing roller coaster ride when the legendary film first hit the screen so it was not only a glorious nod to it’s cult status but also a celebration of the manic creativity of the late great Malcolm McLaren.
Ed kicked off the show in his own exuberant inimitable style, rousing the crowd with a captivating blend of high energy Punk / Rockabilly tunes including… ‘I like Blackjacks‘…‘He‘s Got a Moustache’ ….and of course no Tenpole set would be complete with out the obligatory …‘Who Killed Bambi‘!
Most poignantly Ed played his dedicated song for Malcolm Mclaren 'Heilan (for Malcolm)' what a great night and what a fitting tribute.
